Auburn, AL (EETV)- Auburn Softball was victorious in their final two games of the Tiger Invitational as they defeated Villanova and Troy.

Auburn's offense came to play in the first game as they won by a final of 11-1.

After falling behind in the first inning, the Tigers responded as Kendall Veach hit an RBI single to score Taylon Snow.

Auburn would take the lead in the fourth as Veach would hit a solo home run to make it 2-1.

After tacking on two more runs, freshman Aspen Godwin hit a three run shot to extend the lead to 7-1.

Taylon Snow ended the game with a grand slam which was the first of her career.

In the second game, Auburn would not produce the explosive offense like the first.

After Troy took an early 1-0 lead, a three- run home run from Justus Perry would be the difference as Auburn won by a final score of 3-1.

Makayla Martin recorded her sixth win of the season and her 27th career complete game.

Auburn's record goes to 13-3 and they will travel to Fullerton, California on Thursday to play in the Judi Garman Classic.
