AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Alabama’s primary election is just a little over a week away, and the Democratic field for attorney general consists of just two candidates.
Chris Christie, not to be confused with the former Republican governor of New Jersey, is a Birmingham based attorney who has not held elected office before. Christie wants to increase protection efforts for consumers and protect the rights of victims.
Joseph Siegelman, currently serving as a managing parter at The Cochran Firm, is the son of convicted felon and former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman. Siegleman’s campaign is based around the slogan “People not Politics” with some of his major campaign ideas being protecting the environment and working to protect “vulnerable citizens.”
