Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - No. 13 Auburn went 6-0 to open their season at the Plainsman Invitational.
The Tigers faced Wichita State and Marshall Friday, winning both games 2-0. Pitcher Makayla Martin struck out 12 of the 13 batters she faced against Wichita State.
Auburn hosted Tennessee Tech and Furman Saturday defeating them by scores of 12-2 and 3-0. K.K Crocker and Tanner Snow went 3-4 against Tennessee Tech and both brought in 1 run.
Sunday Auburn took on Tennessee Tech and Furman again beating them 18-0 and 9-1. Justus Perry and Kendall Veach hit back-to-back home runs and Tanner Snow went 5-7 on the day.
Auburn will return to action Wednesday, welcoming Troy and will host the Tiger Invitational this weekend.
