ALEA: Officers to begin enforcing new insurance law

Montgomery, Ala. (EETV) – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is set to begin enforcing the Alabama Mandatory Liability Insurance Law (Act#2016-361). Last year, during the 2016 legislative session, the law was passed and signed by the Governor to mandate all Alabama motorists have liability insurance.

Book Talk by Sean Carroll on Oct 19

On Oct 19, Award-winning author and biologist will be discussing his book, "The Serengeti Rules: The Quest to Discover How Life Works and Why it Matters." His book is discussing efforts of early scientists to answer basic questions about how life works and how the rules they discovered apply to life at different scales, that being molecules in the human body to the delicate balance of zebras and lions in the African savannah.  Carrol is a member of various organizations, he is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Philosophical Society, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. There will be a reception and book signing at 5 p.m.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and the David Matthews Center for Civic Life are coordinating a paid internship for undergraduate students.  The internship, known as Living Democracy, allows students to engage in civic life by experiencing it first hand.
