Auburn students dance at UPC's Just Dance Party

UPC hosts Just Dance Party

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn students put their dancing shoes on at UPC's Just Dance Party last Wednesday.

The free event was hosted by the University Program Council pop-ups committee on Oct. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Students downloaded the 'Just Dance Now' app to participate and get their groove on! In between dances, attendees indulged in free food catered by Foosackly's.

Participants danced to a variety of songs, including "YMCA", "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)", and "Monster Mash". The winner of the previous dance chose the next song.

We spoke to the pop-ups committee Assistant Director of Operations, Jayden McMillian, to learn more about the highly anticipated event.

McMillian explained that the pop-ups committee is known for hosting "small, niche events that cater to other interests on campus". These are intended to encourage a different crowd of students who may be intimidated by larger events.

McMillian noted that future Just Dance Parties may include prizes for the winner.

Mark your calendars, because the Just Dance Party is set to return in January. Keep yourself updated on UPC events via their AUinvolve: University Program Council - AUinvolve
