AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Step into a night where tradition meets celebration! Auburn University's Indian Students Association is hosting their annual Diwali celebration this Sunday, Oct. 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Student Activities Center.
Diwali is also known as the "festival of lights" and symbolizes "the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil", according to ISA's event posting on AUInvolve. The ISA website notes that attendees will, "feel the glow of diyas, enjoy a festive Indian dinner, and experience dazzling student performances".
General admission costs $22.55 per adult, ages 14 and above, $18.45 per child, ages 6 to 13 and is free for children under 6.
