AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) – IMPACT is hosting Rooted in Service on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., beginning in the Melton Student Center Ballroom.
The event will entail two verifiable service hours by serving the homes of Auburn and Opelika residents who need help. Volunteers can expect their service to take the form of yard work.
IMPACT, shortened from Individuals Moving People and Communities Together, is Auburn University’s largest community service organization. The organization conducts service projects year-round. Rooted in Service is considered one of the organization’s three major service events.
Volunteers are encouraged to sign up through IMPACT’s AUinvolve page. Food will be provided before attendees are dismissed to their job sites.
