Auburn's Student Government Association continues Auburn ring tradition with Ring Week

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Student Government Association is continuing its Ring Week tradition this week from Sept. 15 through 19 on the second floor of the Melton Student Center.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this week, graduate students or students who achieved at least 75 credit hours can attend SGA’s tabling event to get fitted for a ring. Students can also choose the style of ring they want including traditional, signet and the women's dinner ring.

SGA holds Ring Week once a semester for students close to graduation as a fun way to add a physical memorial to the memories you have created at Auburn.

The rings are distributed on Ring Night, where students get their rings and touch them to the Auburn University Seal in front of Langdon Hall to absorb the history of the university. The rings then become a symbol representing the students' entrance into the broad and diverse Auburn Alumni community.

Students unable to attend the tabling can still purchase a ring online at https://www.balfour.com/auburn.
