Two Auburn Gymnasts bring home All-SEC honors after SEC Championship meet

Two Auburn Tigers are bringing home all-SEC honors for the Auburn Gymnastics team this season



AUBURN, Ala (EETV) – Two Auburn Tigers are bringing home all-SEC
honors for the Auburn Gymnastics team this season. Cassie Stevens, 5th year
senior from Phoenix, AZ, scores another All-SEC tally for her final season on
the plains. Ever since Stevens arrived on the plains in 2020, she has won a
long list of awards. Including 4 All-American awards. She earned All-SEC in
all-around and on vault this season. Stevens went 39.500 in all around at the
SEC Championship meet, which she finished second.

Freshman, Julianne Huff, scores her very first All-SEC honors
while also securing SEC all-freshman honors and was named to the SEC
all-freshman team. Coming from Hoover, Alabama, Julianne was a four-time Development
Program National Champion prior to coming to Auburn. Huff scored a 9.9 on her vault
at the SEC Championship meet. Huff also tied her career high on floor with a
9.825. The future seems to be really bright for the freshman.

The Tigers continue their post season run in the NCAA Regionals in Berkeley,
California on April 5-7 where they will take on #3 California, #6 Denver, #11 UCLA,
Stanford, Arizona State, and Washington.
