Auburn University has received initial approval for a new video board in Jordan-Hare

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn University received initial approval for a new video board to be placed in the North end zone of Jordan-Hare Stadium, according to @AuburnTigers on X.

The video board plans to have the dimensions of 154 feet wide by 47 feet tall, slightly smaller than the board in the South end zone. It is "designed intentionally with future North end zone improvements in mind"

The project is expected to break ground this summer and be ready for the 2025 football season.

The video board in the South end zone is still the largest in College Football since it was finished building for the 2015 season.

"We are appreciative of the Auburn Board of Trustees for its continued support of Auburn Athletics and the Auburn Family," Auburn Director of Athletics John Cohen said. "This videoboard project will not only take a big step in our efforts to provide a better aesthetic balance between Jordan-Hare Stadium's north and south end zones and an improved sound experience, but more importantly will continue to modernize the fan experience for our fan base. It will also give our south end zone patrons, including our student section, an opportunity to have an unimpeded and straight-ahead view of a state-of-the-art videoboard."

The new video board looks to improve the fan experience for everyone attending.
