Auburn Women's Golf Looks to Make Fourth Straight NCAA Championship

AUBURN, ALABAMA. (EETV) - The Auburn women’s golf team will begin their postseason on Monday when they tee off in the NCAA Stillwater Regional as the four seed in the region.

The region consists of 12 teams competing for four spots in the NCAA Championship at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale Arizona taking place from May 20 to May 25.

Auburn is joined by the likes of Oklahoma State (6), Arizona State (7), Baylor (17), Michigan State (30), Clemson (31), Campbell (42), Furman (44), North Carolina State (54), California (55), Tulane (87) and Illinois State (145).

The Tigers will be bringing with them an ample amount of experience in the likes of Megan Schofill, Anna Foster and Mychael O’Berry all of who played in last year's regional.

The last two golfers in Auburn’s lineup are Kaleigh Telfer and Julie McCarthy both of which are fifth-year seniors for the Tigers.

Auburn is set to tee off at 8 a.m. CT on Monday. The Tigers will play their opening round alongside Michigan State and Clemson. Live scoring of the tournament can be found on golfstat.com.
