Bo Nix to hit transfer portal

Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Quarterback Bo Nix will enter the transfer portal per his instagram page in a post on Sunday night.

"I've made so many decisions for Auburn and now it's time to what's best for me," Nix said. " I've decided it's best for me to be grad transfer and find a new start somewhere else."

Nix was the starter since his freshman season on the plains. In that time, he has broken a number of freshman and school records on the plains including when grabbed the total yards record this past season from former quarterback Stan White.

The Pinson, Alabama native was injured earlier this year against Mississippi State and missed the final two games of his Auburn career. Nix finished his Auburn career with 7,251 passing yards, 39 passing touchdowns, 869 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. The Tigers record with Nix under center was 21-13.
