AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) Auburn’s trip to the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate brought continued success for a trio of Tigers. J.M. Butler, Andrew Kozan and Alex Vogelsong all produced performances good for top-15 placements and a team tie for Third place.
Kozan’s 10-under performance was sufficient for a runner-up finish. The senior’s lone blemish in the final round on Sunday came via a first-hole bogey; however, Kozan was able to bounce back and manufacture three birdies and fourteen pars in his last 17 holes.
Sophomore Vogelsong finished tied for eighth place at four under, notching a pair of birdies on the 11th and 13th holes in his final round.
The trio of top-15 performers rounded out with freshman Butler who notched his fourth top-20 finish on the season. The Louisville, Ky. native posted five birdies in his final 18 holes in route to a final score of four-under.
The Tigers will be back in action on April 5 to begin play in The Collegiate Invitational at The Country Club of Birmingham.
