AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Big Event is a one-day, student-led service project sponsored by Auburn University’s Office of Student Involvement.
Since 2003, the program has served as an opportunity for Auburn students to give back to the Auburn and Opelika communities by performing basic community service tasks for households, businesses, churches, and organizations.
The event was canceled in 2020 as the university and the world responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, The Big Event plans to continue its service. Masks, social distancing, and Healthcheck green screens will be required for student volunteers and community members at the job sites.
The Big Event 2021 is scheduled for March 27.
Students can sign up as a single volunteer or with a team at bigevent.auburn.edu.
