D.C Police Chief Responds to National Guard not being sent to the Capitol Riots

Washington D.C (EETV)- In an interview with CNN, Police Chief Robert Contee expressed his shock that the national guard was not called in during the Capitol Riots.

Contee said, "Chief Sund was pleading for the deployment of the National Guard. And in response to that, there was not an immediate yes. The National Guard is responding. Yes, the National Guard is on the way. Yes, the National Guard are being restaged from traffic posts to respond. The response was more asking about the plan-- that, you know, what was the plan for the National Guard?"

Investigations are currently underway in the senate about the Capitol Riots which will give more evidence to the events that took place on January 10th.
