AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Southeastern Conference has released the start dates for the 2020-21 basketball conference schedule.
Men's SEC basketball will start on Dec. 29 and 30. Women's play will still begin Dec. 31. Men's basketball will play an 18-game conference schedule, with women's basketball playing 16 games.
Both the men’s and women’s seasons will start on Nov. 25, when they will play non-conference games. Teams can begin practice on Oct. 14. This will allow for teams to hold no more than 30 practices in the 42-day span.
Details of either Auburn teams' schedules have not been released yet.
