Auburn Football Team will Honor Pat Dye with Helmet Sticker

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Auburn Football team added a sticker to their helmets to honor Former Auburn Coach Pat Dye.

Dye passed away on June 1, 2020 at the age of 80.

The team will wear stickers on their helmet with the letters PD and the words "Sixty Minutes", as well as a circle of blue and orange lines that represent the 60 minutes of a football game.

There will also be a tribute video played before the game to honor Coach Dye.

The Tigers will begin their season Saturday at 11 a.m. CT in Jordan Hare Stadium as they take on the Kentucky Wildcats.
