AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - It's officially Miss Homecoming election week and five senior women are campaigning across campus to promote their platforms.
English literature major Caroline Mathews is from Athens, Alabama.
She is a volunteer at Storybook Farm, the Director of Creed Week, Vice President of CLA Student Eminent Society, SGA Assistant Vice President of Programs and served as a Camp War Eagle counselor.
Her platform is focused on helping underprivileged children gain access to books and academic coaching. She hopes to do this trough a community-wide book drive and creating tutoring programs at local elementary schools.
Miss Homecoming elections are on Friday, September 13 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Students can vote online at aub.ie/sgavote.
