Alabama Secretary of State's office to host Photo Voter ID drive in Lee County

AUBURN, Ala. - If residents of Lee County do not have a driver’s license or non-driver ID, they can obtain a Photo Voter ID on July 25 at an event hosted by the Alabama Secretary of State's office.

The Photo Voter ID drive will take place at the Boykin Community Center at 400 Boykin St., Auburn, AL 36832 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Thursday. No appointment is required for attendance.

To obtain a free Photo Voter ID, Alabama residents are required to be registered voters, must not have any other approved form of photo ID accepted at polls and must provide a photo ID document or a non-photo identity document. The list of approved documents can be found on the Secretary of State's website.

The office will also assist Alabama residents with voter registration or updating voter information.
