Demolition makes way for construction of new Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex and Central Dining Hall

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Demolition of the Allison Laboratory began early this morning.

The 37,510 square foot building was constructed in 1963 and named for Auburn physicist Dr. Fred Allison.

The demolition is part of the beginning stages of construction for the new Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex, as well as the Central Dining Hall. Both of those buildings are expected to be completed by 2021. The adjacent Parker Hall is also expected to be demolished once the ACLC opens.
