AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Longtime Auburn Mayor Bill Ham formally announced Monday during a Memorial Day breakfast that he would not seek reelection.
Ham was first elected in 1998 and during that time has overseen a period of immense population and economic growth in the city.
Ham has traditionally been a familiar face on Auburn University's campus throughout the years, having traditionally participated in events hosted by various campus organizations.
The next Auburn municipal election is scheduled for August 28.
