Women's Golf finishes 4th at home

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Women's Golf finished fourth in the Evans Derby Experience shooting -1, Tuesday in Auburn. The Tigers had a home course advantage, but could not pull off a tournament win.

Arkansas would go on to win the tournament, shooting -29.

Kayley Marshke went 16 holes without a bogey and had 5 consecutive birdies on holes 2-6. After the wind picked up on the final two holes, Marshke would get a pair of bogeys.

Those bogeys would keep her from a career-low round, but she would lead the team and receive 12th place overall.

Marshke's score did not count towards the team total because she was competing as an individual. The Tigers would finish their home event and finish the week 1 -under 863.

The Tigers will finish their season in North Carolina at the Bryan National Collegiate April 6-8.
