AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Opelika Police Department is requesting additional information regarding an armed robbery that took place Monday night.
The suspect entered the Supermarket La Poblanita, located at 3708 Pepperell Parkway, at approximately 9 p.m. and demanded money from individuals in the store, according to police.
The suspect, described as a black male who's approximately 6-foot-1 and weighs an estimated 140 pounds, was armed with a firearm, according to police reports. He was last seen wearing a camouflage face mask, black sweater, camouflage pants and black shoes.
According to police, the alleged suspect fled the scene on foot and was traveling in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported during the crime.
