AUBURN, Ala (EETV): A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) in the death of Herman Cornelius “Ce-Ce” Lane, age 26 from Auburn. On March 4, 2017, Police responded to an apartment complex on North Dean Road in Auburn and discovered Lane, deceased as the result of an apparent homicide.
Leads thus far have not resulted in the arrest of a suspect. Further investigation has determined that Lane occasionally associated with persons he met through Social Media sites. Auburn Police are asking anyone with information about his death, habits, associations, or activity prior to March 4th, 2017 to contact the Auburn Police Division Investigative Section at 334.501.3140 or the Secret Witness Line at 334.246.1391.
