OPELIKA, Ala (EETV) - This Friday, October 20, come visit the downtown Opelika area to be submerged with sampling foods from different restaurants, listening to live music of local bands, shopping from the extended hours of Opelika shops, and even tasting wine.

From 6-11 pm, the “On the Tracks: A Food and Wine Event” will be held with 20 stops for visitors. This event brings 600-1,000 people to come and to benefit and raise awareness for local stores found in the Auburn/Opelika district.

To purchase your ticket, you can go online at www.onthetracks.org until noon on Friday. These tickets will be sold for $40 ($36 for those with a military ID). Pick up will be at the Will Call ticket booth in front of Café 123 on Eighth Street.

You can also purchase a ticket at Mama Mocha’s Coffee Emporium at 414 S. Gay St. (Auburn) or at The Gallery at 809 S. Railroad Ave (Opelika) before the event.
