The City of Opelika’s Public Works Department (ESG Operations) will be putting out American flags at area cemeteries to honor and remember our veterans. These will go up on Friday, May 26 and be taken down Tuesday, May 30. If you have a loved one buried in Opelika and see that a flag was not placed on their grave, please call Public Works at 334-705-5413 so that we can add them to our list for the next remembrance holiday.
