AUBURN, ALA. (EETV) - Protests have started to escalate on campus, with three people being arrested for fighting Tuesday evening before alt-right Richard Spencer's event. Those three are from unknown parties but were arrested in front of Foy Hall.
Many individuals have shown up in riot gear, including gas masks.
Several groups have shown up on Auburn's campus, including pro and anti fascist groups.
The event on the green space is relatively quiet and peaceful. The event has featured mostly individuals. One group out on the green space: the Socialist Party of Central Alabama. One group member said, "I was told the best thing to do is not show up, but I feel that like that's the worst option"
