Auburn, Ala. - Three of Auburn's notable alumni will be returning to campus this weekend for Auburn's spring commencement ceremonies. Susan Story, Randall Ennis and Melanie Barstad will all be giving keynotes as Auburn rewards more than 4,000 students with their college degrees.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn’s Interfraternity Council has recently announced that they will be putting a hard liquor ban into effect beginning on May 5, 2018, as voted for by the Committee of Presidents. This process has been under discussion within the IFC executive committee, the Council of Presidents, the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Student Conduct since the IFC executive committee attended the Southeastern Interfraternity Conference in Atlanta this past February.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- It is hard to forget — the whistle blowing, the counselors screaming and a little lady exploding like a firecracker into the auditorium. The Nun has entered the room and is ready to excite the incoming freshmen for what will hopefully be the best four years of their lives. Although only a short segment of the Camp War Eagle experience, “Fun with the Nun” gives new students a chance to meet the long-time campus celebrity.

the election for Student Government President in a run-off. This year
has been a big one for the Senior majoring in Economics, and as her term
comes to a close, Keck is able to reflect on her biggest
accomplishments, favorite parts of leading SGA and what it was like
being Auburn’s third female president.

NEW YORK, NY. (EETV)- TIME Magazine released their shortlist for Person of the Year during NBC’s Today Show on Monday, Dec. 4. TIME Magazine has identified Person of the Year since 1927. This title recognizes the person or group of people who, “Most influenced the news during the past year, for better or for worse.” Last year, the title was given to the then president-elect, Donald Trump, who had recently shocked many by winning the 2016 election. TIME’s choices in the past have included several U.S. presidents, Mahatma Gandhi, groups like “The Whistleblowers” and many more.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- NBC News announced Wednesday that they fired Matt Lauer after receiving a detailed account of alleged sexual misconduct with a fellow colleague during the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Since firing him, The New York Times has reported that two more women have come forward with separate accounts accusing Lauer of sexual misconduct.
