SGA candidate profile: Kennedye Mcghee

Kennedy Mcghee is a top five candidate for Miss Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. -- Kennedye Mcghee's Miss Auburn platform centers around the line of the Auburn creed, “I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.”

"The student body and community can Count on Me to be an advocate for education, specifically an Auburn education for all students," said Mcghee in her platform. "That means local students, out of state students, international students, students who come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, transfer students, students with disabilities."

During her time as a student at Auburn, Mcghee has been able to serve the university as an SGA cabinet member, a member of Project Uplift, a member of the Black Student Union and a member of freshman forum. She is also a member of a social sorority.

"The people that make up this wonderful institution remind me constantly that I am not alone, and that I can accomplish my wildest of dreams," described Mcghee in her platform.
