Orlando, FL (EETV)- Auburn was victorious in their first road game defeating UCF by a score of 4-1.
Auburn jumped out to an early lead with a two run shot from Edouard Julien. Julien has now hit three home runs in the last two games.
Freshman Ryan Bliss gave the Tigers a 3-0 lead with an RBI double in the fourth inning.
UCF tacked on a lone run with an RBI single in the sixth inning but would be held in check the rest of the game.
Auburn added one more run as Kason Howell drove in a run on a sacrifice fly.
Tanner Burns picked up the win as he pitched five innings with 7 strikeouts.
Auburn goes to 5-1 on the year and they will be back tomorrow to face UCF in game two at 5 PM.
