Auburn voters looking for balance between growth and keeping city safe

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Voters from across the city of Auburn head to the polls Tuesday to vote on who they would like to represent them in the coming years.

At the Dean Road Recreation Center polling location, voters wanted new leaders to focus on accommodating the city's growth while also accounting for longtime citizens.

"How we take care of everyone who is already present here, living here all the time," said resident Teri Gilmore.

Some residents also wanted to ensure that city leadership remains stable going forward.

"Continued good government," said Howard Ryan.

Polls will be open across the city until 7:00 p.m.
