Bri Folds named to National Team of the Week

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Top Drawer Soccer named Auburn soccer sophomore Bri Folds to their National Team of the Week.

Folds was key in the Tigers’ win against Hofstra scoring in the 64th minute which ended up being the deciding goal giving Auburn the 1-0 win to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

She became the fourth Auburn soccer player named to National Teams of the Week joining Kristen Dodson, Hannah Alspach, and Caroline Bado.

Folds' four goals on the season sit her second on the Tigers roster behind Kristen Dodson, her six assists have her tied for the team lead and her 14 total points sit her only behind Dodson (19).

With the win, the senior class becomes the first in program history to go beyond the first round of the Tournament in all four years on the plains.

Folds and the Tigers look to continue their high level of play on Friday, Nov. 17 against top-seeded Stanford.
