AUBURN, Ala (EETV) - The American Red Cross will be hosting their annual Beat Bama Blood Drive this week in the Auburn University Student Center Ballroom.
According to data from the American Red Cross, every two seconds a person in the United States is in need of blood, with the most requested type being type O. A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood.
From Tuesday Nov. 14- Thursday Nov. 16 students and university employees can donate blood to the American Red Cross.
All blood donors will be entered to win raffle prizes, will receive a commemorative t-shirt and get a free pizza lunch.
