Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The Lady Tigers of Auburn Basketball returned to the court on Wednesday for their official practice of the upcoming season.  

Coach Terri Williams-Flournoy had positive comments about the practice and what she is developing for the 2017-18 season. "We're building a team of excellence. That's what our motto is. Every day, we're building someone to step up and be better." said Williams-Flournoy to Auburn Atheltics. 

During the duration of practice, the Tigers were greeted by Dr. Steven Leath, focused on half court defense, and ended with Tiffany Lewis, senior guard, making a 25 foot shot to beat the clock and win the drill. 

The Tigers come back to practice coming off of consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and returning for the Tigers are three starters from the previous season. 

Auburn begins their season with  a Monday night game at Virginia Tech on Nov. 13 and are scheduled to bring basketball back to the plains on Thursday, Nov. 16, against North Carolina A&T.
