Former first family members will be welcomed to the Plains Thursday, October 5. 

Barbara Pierce Bush and Jenna Bush Hager, daughters of former President George W. Bush, are featured speakers for the university's Critical Conversations Series. 

The conversation will center on the topic of Diverse Perspectives on Women Leaders and will be followed by a question-and-answer session. 

Barbara Pierce Bush is the current CEO and co-founder of Global Health Corps, serving among various organizations such as UNICEF and the Red Cross. 

Jenna Bush Hager is a correspondent for the Today Show and serves as the chair of UNICEF's Next Generation. 

The event will be held in the Student Center Ballroom and is free to the public. 

The conversation will begin at 5 p.m. and doors will open at 4 p.m.
