EJ Montgomery Decommits from Auburn

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - E.J. Montgomery has decommitted from Auburn, first reported by Scout.com Wednesday morning.

Montgomery, a five-star power forward out of Marietta, Ga, decommited one day after Auburn associate head coach Chuck Person was charged in a federal bribery case.

Montgomery's father told Scout.com, "We are going to open EJ's recruitment back up."

The 6'10 forward from Wheeler High School is currently the No. 4 power forward prospect and is currently ranked No. 17 overall.

This is the first major recruitment decommitment since the news broke of the FBI probe investigation on Sept. 26.
