Pet of the Week: Anduril

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- This week's Pet of the Week is Anduril.  Anduril was acquired by the Lee County Human Society from the hoarding situation last week.  According to society employees, Anduril is a very friendly and affectionate.  Officials say that Anduril is recovering from an upper respiratory infection, but his health is improving.

Auburn Navy ROTC members marching to honor fallen Marines

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)– On Wednesday, May 9, a group of 44 Marines, Sailors and Midshipman of the Auburn University Navy ROTC will depart on a three-day, 209-mile ruck march from Auburn to Navarre, Florida. "Rucking for Raiders" is in memory of the members of Marine Special Operations Team 8231, or The Raider 7, an elite group of Marines who perished in a helicopter crash during a training accident on March 10, 2015. Pet of the Week: Amber

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Meet this week's Lee County Humane Society Pet of the Week, Amber.  Amber is about two years old, and she's been with the shelter for about two months. According to the shelter she mostly likes to do her own thing, but is definitely a fan of the occasional snuggle session.  When she's not loving on you, Amber enjoys taking lengthy naps in the sunlight and snacking on tasty treats.

Beyonce makes history at Coachella 2018

Auburn, ALA (EETV) - Beyoncé Knowles made history this past weekend by being the first black woman and woman of color to headline Coachella (the valley and music festival). Knowles was scheduled to perform last year at the popular festival, but had to cancel because of the delivery of her twins.  The singer/dancer performed for her fans hit songs from her most recent album "Lemonade", "Crazy in Love", "Deja Vu" and surprised the BeyHive with a reunion with Destiny's Child.


Pet of the Week: Rocko

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- This week's Lee County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Rocko. Rocko is three years old, and according to the Humane Society staff he's a big friendly dude whose interests include chasing tennis balls (he's working on learning to bring them back), nice long walks, and hanging out with people.


2017-2018 Auburn Involvement Awards winners

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn University's Office of Student Involvement hosted their annual Involvement Awards Tuesday night. The awards are meant to honor the many different campus student organizations with award categories ranging from marketing to advising.


Auburn Glomerata distribution this week

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Auburn University Glomerata, the official campus yearbook, will be distributed to students starting Tuesday. The Glomerata team will be passing the books out on the Haley, Thatch and Roosevelt concourses. The books are free for Auburn University students with a valid TigerCard.


Campus Legend, ‘the Nun’, Reflects on Her Time at Auburn University

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- It is hard to forget — the whistle blowing, the counselors screaming and a little lady exploding like a firecracker into the auditorium. The Nun has entered the room and is ready to excite the incoming freshmen for what will hopefully be the best four years of their lives. Although only a short segment of the Camp War Eagle experience, “Fun with the Nun” gives new students a chance to meet the long-Qme campus celebrity. 


Final Lecture: Dr. Mark Wilson

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Auburn University Student Government Association hosted its annual Final Lecture Monday night in the Mell Classroom Building. Dr. Mark Wilson, Director of Civic Learning Initiatives for the College of Liberal Arts and Director of Auburn's Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities, was this year's speaker. Wilson was selected by the student body for the honor earlier this year during the spring SGA elections.
