Music and TV lovers rejoice - Spotify and Hulu have teamed up to offer college students a bundle of the two services for only $4.99 per month. In addition to having access to Spotify Premium, which allows for unlimited listening and skipping and offline listening, the plan gives access to Hulu's limited commercial plan, which normally costs $7.99 per month.

Could you BE anymore excited? A parody musical adaptation of Friends will be there for you starting this fall. Friends: The Musical will premiere off-Broadway at the Triad Theatre in New York City and is created by Bob and Tobly McSmith, who have also created musical parodies of Full House, Saved by the Bell, and Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The musical will both celebrate and poke fun at the beloved 90s sitcom. McSmith told Entertainment Weekly: “Oh and there will be a smelly cat, there will be Janice, and there will be Fat Monica.” There is no word if any of the cast will be involved but McSmith hopes that they will come to the show and possibly be on stage for a night or two. On April 7, 2017, the Harbert College of Business unveiled its plan for a new classroom building in a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the school’s 50th anniversary. Dean Bill Hardgrave, University President Jay Gouge, and school namesake Raymond J. Harbert all spoke at the ceremony, all hoping that the construction of this new building will continue to bring great success to Auburn. The ribbon cutting of a new student lounge in Lowder was also hosted.

The future is now: Auburn might have self-driving cars before you know it – all thanks to the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Last month, The Alabama Legislative Committee to Study Self Driving Vehicles visited Auburn and spoke with mechanical engineering professor David Bevly, who also heads Auburn’s GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory.
