Two killed in single vehicle accident

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Auburn Police Division are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Monday morning in the 3300 block of Moores Mill Road. Police say that a vehicle that was traveling east bound left the roadway, struck a tree and became engulfed in flames. A 20 year old Lannett woman and a 24 year old Auburn woman were killed in the crash.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn voters took to the polls Tuesday for the Auburn mayoral election. Many voters voiced concerns with the current City Council, as well as concerns in their communities.

Ron Anders wins Auburn mayoral election

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn City Councilman Ron Anders has been declared the winner of Auburn's mayoral runoff election. Anders beat community resident David Hill garnering 54.2% of the vote. Prior to his run for mayor, Anders served as the councilman for Ward 2.  Anders currently serves as the Director of Special Projects for the Tailgate Guys company. Anders will succeed outgoing longtime Mayor Bill Ham.

Auburn voters looking for balance between growth and keeping city safe

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Voters from across the city of Auburn head to the polls Tuesday to vote on who they would like to represent them in the coming years.  At the Dean Road Recreation Center polling location, voters wanted new leaders to focus on accommodating the city's growth while also accounting for longtime citizens.  "How we take care of everyone who is already present here, living here all the time," said resident Teri Gilmore. Some residents also wanted to ensure that city leadership remains stable going forward. "Continued good government," said Howard Ryan.  Polls will be open across the city until 7:00 p.m.
