Auburn ranked one of the top 100 places to live

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Based on its quality education, tight-knit community and other factors, the City of Auburn earned a spot on Livability’s 2018 Top 100 Best Places to Live. Auburn, the only Alabama city to make the list, ranked No. 93 with a LivScore of 605.

Alabama Governor Announces School Safety Initiative

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (EETV) – Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, during a press conference Tuesday, unveiled her “Smart on Safety Initiative.”  "In announcing a four-pronged approach to school safety, we will build on the foundation already in place and allow all available state resources to be focused on efforts to keep our children safe," said Ivey.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Alabama State Sen. Tom Whatley sat down with Eagle Eye TV to discuss a recent bill named after a local Auburn girl that passed in the Alabama State Senate. The Sadie Grace Andrews Bill would require all businesses to have locks or protection of some kind on outdoor grease traps. Andrews, the Auburn girl who the bill is named for, died after falling into an unprotected grease trap at a local ice cream store.  Whatley also discussed some of the issues up for debate this session and how students can get involved in the legislative process.

Two Individuals Arrested Sunday for Trespassing in Jordan Hare Stadium

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Two individuals were arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly breaking into Auburn University’s Jordan Hare Stadium. According to Auburn Police Division spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, Harry James Bicksler and Elizabeth Freret Harmon were found by officers in the south east end zone of the stadium.
