(EETV)- The names of the next appointed Auburn University Student Government Association executive officers have been released.According to SGA Vice President-elect Schyler Burney; Mackenzie Yelton, Patrick Starr, Austin Chandler, Jordan Kramer and Bailey Hand have been identified as the next appointed executive team.Yelton, who currently serves as SGA’s Executive Secretary, has been identified as the next Chief of Staff.

(EETV)- Officers from the Auburn Police Division responded to an alleged theft at the Auburn Arena Wednesday.According to police spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, a member of the arena security staff reported that here purse was stolen while she worked.This was the same day that Auburn Men's Basketball played Texas A&M.Dorsey said the case is still being investigated by officers.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (EETV)- A group of Montgomery residents gathered Sunday night for a candlelight vigil in memory of a local Taco Bell that suffered substantial fire damage last week.The restaurant, located off of Montgomery's Zelda Road, went up in flames around the same time Alabama was dealing with strong winter weather.The event, which was heavily promoted on Facebook, featured performances and locals telling stories about their time at the fast food restaurant according to a report by the Montgomery Advertiser."Taco Bell Zelda Rd thanks all of the wonderful customers who are planning a candlelight vigil for the burning of our store,” said the owners to local television station WSFA. “We are overwhelmed by the displays of support.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (EETV)- University of Alabama Student Government Association President Jared Hunter was arrested Sunday by Tuscaloosa Police and charged with driving under the influence.Hunter, who received widespread attention when he was elected in 2017, was the first African American SGA President to be endorsed by the University of Alabama’s “Machine” organization.Eagle Eye TV has reached out to the University of Alabama for comment and will update this story once we hear from them.
AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Officers with the Auburn Police Division responded to a criminal trespassing call Sunday afternoon on the campus of Auburn University.The incident was reported to have occurred in the 300 block of War Eagle Way, which is close to many of the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering buildings.According to police spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, officers made contact with two juveniles who were alleged to have trespassed on a construction site.The juveniles were not Auburn University students and were released to their legal guardians.No injuries or damage were reported.

(EETV)- The Auburn Police Division reports that two bicycles were stolen from a bike rack on campus close to Mell Street over the Winter Break.According to division spokesperson Lorenza Dorsey, two mountain bicycles valued at over $400.00 were taken from the rack close to the new Mell Classroom building.
