AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Auburn Police Division has confirmed the identity of the two suspects involved in Friday's officer-involved shooting.
Officials have identified Christopher James Wallace from Spanish Fort, Alabama, and a 36 year old female as the suspects. Officials are withholding the name of the female suspect until family members have been notified.
A preliminary examination by the state medical examiner indicates that both suspects died as a result of gunshot wounds.
Auburn Police Division Officer Justin Sanders was allegedly shot multiple times by Wallace. Sanders was rushed to UAB Medical Center and is currently recovering for his injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
