Auburn Outreach to host hurricane relief drive

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn University Outreach's Office of Public Service will be joining with the East Alabama Medical Center to host a collection drive for those impacted by recent hurricanes.

Officials will be collecting:

  • 32-64 oz. Liquid laundry detergent
  • 16 – 40 oz. Liquid concentrate household cleaner i.e. Fabuloso (no spray cleaners)
  • 16 – 34 oz. dishwashing liquid
  • 4 -6 oz. can of pump spray air freshener
  • 10 – 20 ct. packs of insect repellant wipes
  • Scrub brush with or without handle
  • Reusable cleaning cloths (Clorox wipes, scotch brite; no paper towels)
  • Scouring pad sponges (no brillo pads)
  • 36 -50 pack of wooden or plastic clothes pins
  • 50 -100 feet cotton or plastic clothes line
  • Heavy duty trash bags; 33 – 45 gallon bags (24 count)
  • Heavy duty kitchen gloves, any size
  • Work gloves, cotton, with leather palm or all leather
  • 5-gallon round buckets with re-sealable lids
  • Pet food/Cat Litter
  • Diapers
  • Bleach, gallon size

Donations can be dropped off at the lobby of O.D. Smith Hall from October 15-19.
