Auburn Police arrest women in connection to several vehicle break ins

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- On Thursday Auburn Police arrested Auburn resident Holly C. Dent charging her with three counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle, Theft of Property Third Degree, Criminal Mischief First Degree and two counts of Theft of Property Fourth Degree.

Police say that the arrest is the result of an investigation into a report made on in reference to criminal mischief and theft of property at an apartment complex in the 200 block of West Glenn Avenue. Dent, who resided at the complex, was developed as a suspect in that incident and identified through video surveillance, as the individual responsible.
Investigations revealed that Dent was also allegedly responsible for unlawfully entering three vehicles in the parking lot of the apartment complex. A 2009 Jeep Wrangler, a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, and a 2017 Jeep Wrangler, all were unlawfully entered and had electronic devices and sunglasses stolen from within. Officers arrested at her residence.

Dent was transported to the Lee County Jail, and will be eligible for a $15,500 bond.
