Basketball struggle in road loss to Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (EETV) - Arkansas ruins a would-be championship night for No. 14 Auburn, defeating the Tigers 91-80 Wednesday in Fayetteville. 

The Tigers lone lead of the night game in the first minutes of the first half, when Auburn held a 3-0 lead.

Arkansas would tie the game on a 3-point-shot by Anton Beard and would never look back. The Razorbacks would lead the game the entire night making almost every shot they took.

Arkansas would finish the game shooting 53.1% from the floor and 33.3% from behind the arc. Daniel Gafford would lead the Razorbacks in scoring, finishing with a team-high 21 points.

Meanwhile, Auburn struggled the entire night, shooting 33.4% from the floor and 21.4% from behind the arc. 

The lone highlight of the night for Auburn would be a deep three-point-shot by Mustapha Heron at the buzzer to bring the Tigers within 10 at the half.
