AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - It may be February, but baseball opening day is upon us. The Tigers will open their 2018 season today at 5 p.m. welcoming Longwood for a three-game series.
Auburn will rematch the Lancers Saturday and Sunday, both at 1 p.m. Before you arrive to Plainsman Park for any of these games, here's what you need to know:
1. Games will open 1 hour prior to first pitch
- Friday: 4 p.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m.
2. Parking is available Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum lot, Athletic Complex lot, and the Stadium Deck*
- If parking in the stadium deck: the top two levels are available Friday. All levels will be available Saturday and Sunday.
3. Tailgating IS allowed
- Grass areas around the park and in the surrounding parking lots will be open for tailgating
4. The Stadium Deck is open for game viewing.
- If you don't have a ticket, you are welcome to watch from the parking deck.
5. You may bring empty plastic bottles in
- Free water refills are available
6. There will be a cell phone charging station in the stadium
- The station will be near the front gate adjacent to the promotions booth
