Women's Basketball back in Action at Home

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Women's Basketball will return home for their home opener Thursday, Nov. 16. 

North Carolina A&T will visit the Tigers at 6 p.m. in the Auburn Arena. 

Auburn comes into the game after losing their season opener against Virginia Tech. 

Despite the loss, they were able to pull down 52 rebounds and sophomore, Daisa Alexander, and junior, Emari Jones had a big game.  

Alexander scored a career-high of 19 points and Jones also had a career-high in rebounds with 7. 

Auburn has won 38 consecutive home openers and has a 5-0 all-time record against North Caroline A&T. 

The last meeting between the Tigers and the Aggies ended with a 68-36 victory in Greensboro. Under Coach Flo, the Tigers are 33-3 against non-conference opponents at home. 

Active, veteran and retired military personnel along with their families will be honored at the game for Military Appreciation Night. They will receive free admission by showing a military ID at the ticket window. The game can be watched live on the SEC Network.
