Regular Season Soccer is Coming to an End

Nashville, Tenn. (EETV) - Soccer heads to Vanderbilt this Thursday to complete their regular season play in Nashville, TN at 8 p.m. It will be televised live on the SEC Network.

Implications for the Tigers as the head to Nashville are SEC tournament seeding, an SEC tiebreaker between Vandy and Tennessee, and a potential first-round bye.

Auburn is currently tied for fourth with Tennessee and Vanderbilt in the SEC. The Tigers are also looking for their fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and a win on Thursday would only improve their chances.

Vanderbilt will also be vying for tournament seeding in this match. The Commodores are coming off a difficult stretch of matches against four ranked opponents coming out with only one win and three losses.

SEC Tournament play is set to begin Sunday, Oct. 29 in Orange Beach, Ala.

Depending on the outcome Thursday, Auburn will begin play on Sunday or have a Halloween appearance on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
