Applications Are Out for an Exciting Paid Internship.

Living Democracy Internship Provides Students with Civic Life Experience and Pay.

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and the David Matthews Center for Civic Life are coordinating a paid internship for undergraduate students. 

The internship, known as Living Democracy, allows students to engage in civic life by experiencing it first hand. Students will work with an Alabama community for ten weeks while having the opportunity to design, execute and evaluate community projects. Housing will be provided as well as a salary of $1,800. 

To prepare for the internship students are required to take a 1-hour class during the spring 2018 semester. Students who are chosen to participate will be classified as Jean O'Conner-Synder Interns. Applications are due Monday, October 16th at 5 p.m.
