Leath makes first institutional change as President

Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - In his first shake-up as president, Dr. Steven Leath is making big changes to the Division of Student Affairs.

Begining Sunday, Campus dining, Office of First Year Experience, Housing and Residence Life, and Campus Living Property Management will all now report to Student Affairs.

In the change, Dr. Bobby Woodard will no longer serve as Associate Provost. Woodard's role will be overseeing the Division as Vice President of Student Affairs.

"The realignment was made to optimize the student experience and help ensure Auburn’s maximum success." says Brian Keeter, Director of Public Affairs for the Presidents office.

The realignment will increase the division to 18 departments.

"The realignment allows the University to provide students with a streamlined access to services on campus and assist with improving the student experience on our campus." says Woodard.

The change will take effect October 1. Students should not notice any disruption in service from these departments.
